Xiaoxi Li

Biography:

Born and raised in China, Xiaoxi Li is a graduate student in French and Francophone literature. She got her Bachelor’s degree at Xiamen University in Biology, and learned French after having found her true interest in French literature as a translator and a researcher. She has translated several books from French to Chinese written by Mme Staël, Voltaire, and Jules Michelet. Her research interests include Caribbean women’s writing, continental philosophy, and literary theory.
