Professional Bio
Arezou Darvishi is a dual-title PhD student in French and Francophone Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is interested in 20th and 21st-century Francophone literature and visual objects to study the question of exile and disability theory and how exile can be not only a geo-temporal displacement but also a corporeal form of debility, disorientation, vulnerability, and dependence.
