Professional Bio
Lamine was Student Affairs Coordinator and language instructor at SIT Study Abroad in Dakar since 2018. He taught Wolof and French to US based students studying abroad in Senegal. Lamine holds an M.A in African and Postcolonial Studies from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar and works with the African and Postcolonial laboratory at UCAD. He taught English in high school and at the International Language Academy in Dakar. His interests revolve around Decoloniality, Critical Race Theory and urban cultures. Lamine has served as Program Coordinator and research assistant for several American universities and US based faculty.
