We are thrilled to announce that doctoral student Morgane Haesen has been awarded the 2021-2022 Alumni Association Dissertation Award for her dissertation An Ever-Bleeding Heart: Life Narratives in the Alsace and Lorraine Borderland, 1871-1926. Haesen’s dissertation is currently in progress under the supervision of Prof. Willa Silverman.

The award  is considered to be among the most prestigious available to Penn State graduate students and recognizes outstanding achievement in scholarship and professional accomplishment. More about this prestigious honor here.
