Katherine Ellis is a dual-degree Ph.D. candidate in the departments of French and Francophone Studies and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Penn State. Her research interests include masculinities through the lens of World War I psychiatry, the visual rhetoric of scientific images, and trauma studies.
