Jeanne M. Kabulis

Jeanne M. Kabulis is an Attorney Advisor in the Office of Hearings Operations at the Philadelphia East location of the U.S. Social Security Administration.  She earned her Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University in 1997.  After graduating from Penn State, Jeanne taught French at the middle school, high school, community college, and university levels, most recently with Fairfax County Public Schools in the metropolitan D.C. area.  She left teaching in 2014 to study law, earning her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2017.  As a Maida Public Interest Fellow at Rutgers, she represented clients in immigration matters.  She was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in October 2017.  In 2017-2018, she clerked for the Honorable Morris G. Smith in New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division.  Currently, she works as a decision writer, drafting administrative determinations of disability pursuant to Titles II and XVI of the Social Security Act.
