The Department of French and Francophone Studies is delighted to announce that doctoral student Melanie Pérès has been named a recipient of the highly competitive College of the Liberal Arts Superior Teaching and Research (STAR) Award. This prestigious award recognizes graduate students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement across teaching, research, and service. In addition to receiving the STAR Award, she has also been inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious all-discipline honor societies.
